Stress! What am I stress about??

I think my stress "Zhi Zhao"... Why do I say that? Every morning, I will look at my handphone see if there is any sms, check if it rings?? Siao right? No choice leh, if got sms, got call means got chance is from customer... When my handphone dont rings, I will worry that is my handphone spoilt liao ma??? SIAO SIAO SIAO....

If everyday like that I will go crazy... hahahaha.... So all this is "Zhi Zhao" stress...

Oh ya, I must announce that I had completed my nail course long time ago... Just that Im still going back for my exams. Every 2 months then got a date for exam. So it look like Im still studying nail course...  But I completed the course le....

What had happened to me for the past 2 months??

1. Blissful Nails officially operate full time in August...
2. I passed my Certificate in Gel Extension Techniques...
3. Busy cracking my head on how to manage my home based salon...

It was not easy to decide to turn full time freelance manicurist...
I took me 3 months to decide... All should know that is not easy to give up a fixed reasonable salary... Especially 1 month after I turn full time, recession is going to hit us soon...

Maybe some of my customer had already know why I decided to turn to a full time manicurist... Sorry ya, make you to listen to all my story... Peisei ya Peisei...

Yup, I passed my Certificate in Gel Extension Techniques... Not easy this time... Not much confident... Im heng lo.... Just pure luck that I manage to make it... I guess the basic techniques help me thru... I worried like hell before the result is out... But that make me understand that practice makes perfect... Im not born to be perfect...

Im soon be lack of ideas liao... I need brain storming... MORE IDEAS....

Any good idea to let the whole punggol resident know that there is home base salon???
Beside giving out flyers???
Or anyone knows where can find super cheap printers??? Inorder to give out flyers to the whole punggol, will need up to 20k pcs of flyers.... So i need reak cheap printers...

I tried pasting on bus stops, end up the next day, the cleaner took them out... HAIZ....

Anyway, I would like to thank all that had help me in gving me ideas... I really appreciate them alot...

Oh ya, I decided to remove the price list for Man's Manicure and Pedicure...
I totally scared by the call I received it today while serving 1 lovely customer...
He is the 2nd cheeky guy I came across that want to look for "extra" services...

Heres the conversation: (Roughly remember bit by bits... But more than enough to let everyone that know me to be frightened and will ask me to delete all the price list for Man's Manicure and Pedicure)
Private number: Hello, Eva?
Me: Ya.
Private number: You do pedicure?
Me: Correct. Sorry may I know you are a guy or a gal? (Sound like a guy but too soft to 100% confirm is a guy, but Im 80% sure is a guy.)
Private number: Do you do massage? (Didnt ans my question, Guy or gal.)
Me: Oh yes, a gentle massage... Sorry may I know you are a guy or a gal?
Private number: Oh so you can do a body massage if I want? (Still didnt ans my question, Guy or gal.)
Me: NO NO... If you do pedicure than I will do a gentle massage on your foot... Sorry may I know you are a guy or a gal? Cause you sound like a guy to me... Sorry, I have a customer with me now. (I must be dumb to still talk to him at this point of time, should have end up the call... But I want to maintain good customer service, not to hang up call just like that... But I did drop hint saying IM NOT FREE....)
Private number: Oh. Got customer huh... Your voice sound very sweet and cute leh...
Me: Oh so sorry, I really got a customer with me now... I really cant talk to you anymore... (My goodness... He is another cheeky guy....)
Cheeky guy: Oh. okok..........
Me: okok BYE.... (Didnt wait for him to finish I quickly hang up....)

Remember i mentioned that I taok an exam in July...

The result is out..............

I PASSED............................. 

YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!

This time is Certificate in Acrylic Extension Techniques.

My next exam will be in Sept... It will be Certificate in Gel Extension Techniques...

Haiz... Very worry about this... I not so good in Gel... 

What have I been doing for the past 1 month?
Hmmmm... Busy with self study at my nail school so that I can take the exam in July.
Busy in doing assignments,

Assignment for this round is more tough... I did filing till my own nail are filed.
Left hand, thumb and index finger all are filed off. Worst is my index finger, can see a red line. 

Well, YES! Exam is over... 
My available slots are back to normal.

Im sorry to those customer that I had turn down due to the exam preparation.

Will update all again if I PASS or FAIL.
I would say I confirm will PASS cause I wasnt very confident but I know I did my best and also very happy with my work... 

Hahaha.

Finally complete "renovated" the salon.
Hope that all my customer will like the new "look"! 

Remember i mentioned that I took the Professional Manicurist Certificate Exam early this May?

When my hubby saw my result, his reaction was "Why assignment II marks so low?"
Sound like my dad... 
 Thats show that he actually think that I can do better...
Well, he is true la... My marks was slightly pull down by Assignment II... 

Must not be too excited or feel proud of it...
I always have this thinking "No matter where you graduated from, in this line, customer service and skill are still the most important thing."

I dont wish to be the best, must I will try my best to provide you the best.

More exams coming.... Stress.... 

 Finally is over!
Professional Manicurist Certificate Exam is finally over!
Result will be out in 2 weeks time.
I wont say I did badly but at least I tried my very very best.
Hands shakes very badly when only left with 10 mins... 
Everything was too rush... I forgotten to take pictures of my nail art assignment. 
Need 80% then is consider pass. Faints...

Next exam will be Professional Acrylic Extension Certificate Exam and Professional Gel Extension Certificate Exam. Will be taking both together in July...
